Welcome!
Hello all, Mom, Dad and I are at the cottage this weekend and we got to talking about the old family letters and how nice it was to keep up on what was happening in everyone's lives. So... I figured, let's just create a blog that anyone in the family can post to. Just post what's going on in your life, you can put up photos and whatever else you'd like and if we keep it going it should be a great way for everyone to keep in touch. If there's someone that I missed adding as an author, let me know and I'll add them right in. In the meantime, can't wait to hear from you all.

Welcome everyone, and thanks Josh for doing this. What prompted it was Becca finding two of the old family letters in her stuff last week. Reading through them it was fun to be able to go back to (1990) and see what we were all doing. Hope we can keep this going
This is a whole lot easier than writing those letters. I am pretty sure i have copies of them somewhere and will share them when I find them.
It is over 90 here and too hot to sit on the deck. 9 years ago when we opened the first time it was 20 during the night and not far above 32 during the day - quite a contrast.
Dick's concerts are in3 weeks and next weekend we head to Wilmington DE for Shannon Slack's wedding and we plan on seeing Julie, Dick's niece and her family.
I like this idea, it was fun reading those old letters..
Life is rather crazy here, John is playing t-ball twice a week, we have Kindergarten registration on Wednesday and they both seem to be growing so fast.
The other news from the Kahle's is that I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer on Friday. Yeah, bummer, but fortunately it's early and treatable.. so, i will use this blog to post any happenings on that front. Right now i have an appointment with a surgeon first week of May, so we'll see what happens. I don't like waiting till then, so i'm going to work on something earlier.. if only to answer all the questions i have!
